Washington D.C

The roadtrip back from GA was about 13 hours long and by my second shift of driving, I was having trouble staying awake. The whole time, I was remembering what my dad was saying to us before we left, "If you're sleepy, pull over". I wanted to pull over somewhere cool tho so I rode it out until something drew me in. I saw the Washington monument in the distance and couldn't wait for the exit to come up. I haven't been to the nat'l monuments in D.C. since I was a kid and was anxious to take pics. To my surprise, we drove up to the Smithsonian institution and also found a cluster of other museums nearby.
